- Can we buy some furniture directly from the company?
No, our products are sold throughout North America by a vast retailers network.
- Where exactly can we get some Corriveau furniture?
Take a look at the distributors section on the web site to know more about the location of the nearest retailer. For further informations, you can contact our customer service department between 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. (Atlantic coast time), Monday to Friday (1-800-463-7400).
- How can I get replacement parts?
Ask your retailer or our customer service department. It is important to know your model number prior to call.
- I’ve tried to assemble my new table but it seems that there is a leg longer than the others… So, the assembly can’t be done. What should I do?
All legs are obviously identical. According to the instructions sheet, each leg must be set up within or at the frame one by one. Return the table, then tighten all bolts and nuts without excess.
- Is it dangerous to have a tempered glass top table?
No, not at all. It’s not more dangerous than the glass of your own car. The structure of tempered glass allows the top to break up in an amount of rounded particles, which minimizes the risk of personal injuries. The eventuality of breaking the glass top with a normal use is not significant for a well assembled table.
- Is there any reason why the table top shattered down and where can I buy a new one?
Tempered glass is very resistant but It can react to temperature variations combined to an improper assembly (too tight). Broken glass top is not under warranty. To avoid breaking of glass, make the assembly loose, return the table, then tight all bolts without excess. In accurance, this item is available through customer service department.
- What can be done to an umbrella reversed by the wind? Can it be repaired?
Naturally, it depends of the seriousness of the damage. Some parts can be directly ordered from the factory, or the umbrella can be sent under repair. In both ways, customers must take arrangements with our customer service department for parts, repairs and transportation fees. All returned goods must have an authorization number prior to being shipped back to our factory.
- I have bought a Corriveau’s patio set a few years ago and I have lost or worn out some of the plastic caps. Where can I get some?
The different plastic components may be unavailable in hardware stores. However, most of the parts are available through our customer service department at a minimal cost, our minimal order is 20 $. Please be aware of the chair’s model number or name to properly identify the required parts.
- How can I remove a persistent stain? What do you recommend?
Most stains can be eliminated by using a soft soap. However, sometimes a stronger cleaner might be needed. If this case occurs, you should progressively increase the dose of cleaner. Be careful, some cleaner can fade colors on fabrics.
- Is it possible to buy some touch up paint? Where?
Yes, customers can get some touch up paint for little applications. Our spay paint reproduce textured effects of our colors. Price vary for different texture and colors.
- I have bought Corriveau outdoor furniture a few years ago. The structure is still perfect but, fabric’s colors cushions or sling are faded or torn. I would like to get new ones with trendy colors. Can I?
Yes, it’s easy to replace old cushions with new ones because measurements haven’t changed since our first models. For sling chairs, there are different sizes fore each model. Code number or picture will be helpful to determine the model. A picture can help to determine the model. Retailers or our service department will find pleasure in showing you the available fabric colors.
- If I buy a Corriveau patio set and then, I want to add other items of the same collection. Would it be possible?
Yes, usually. Unless there is an exclusive limited production, we can add more items such as lawn swing, lounge chair, hammock, glider, spring and swivel, bar set, etc. Once production is stopped for an item, it depends of level of stock to get specific items.
- I have bought a patio set one year and a lawn swing from the same collection later, both the same color. We can distinguish a difference in their shades colors. Can it be normal?
The hue existing between these two items is due to the sunshine exposure. However, the difference in colors, will be less noticeable from one to the other at the next year of use. The powder coating paint used offers UV rays protection but it cannot be 100% sun proof. Usually it takes many years to see a noticeable difference.
- What about gazebos, umbrellas and canopy imperviousness?
Generally defined as sunshades, these components are made of uv-treated tight-woven fabric but none is 100% water proof.
- Can Patio furniture be left outside during winter?
During summertime, condensation easily turns into vapor, but automn makes it harder. Remaining water could damage tubings and should be removed prior to store. Indoor storage is recommended. If storage is not possible, remove cap to allow water, removal then, replace it and store in a non heated shed.
- How can I identify my model number if I lost my original invoice?
E-mail a picture allowing our customer service staff to recognize our products.
- Are stone, granit or slate table caps covered by warranty?
No. Like glass tops, there is no express warranty to cover these tops. Stone top makes exception, under these conditions : They are covered for 1 year only if stored correctly and in a tempered place! Cracking and breakage caused by freezing are not guaranteed!
- What is the care for slate, stone or granit top?
A good quality paver sealant must be applied twice a year (Ex. : THOMPSONS’S WATER SEAL FOR CONCRETE AND AGREGATES)
