Estiva offers elegance, comfort and sturdiness, making it good value for your money.

 

Classic Design appeals to those preferring sophistication and supreme comfort. Some parts or complete units can be made in Asia under our specifications.

 

 

Covered by our Warranty :

 

10 years :

  • Any manufacturing defect of the metal structure during normal domestic use, including :
    • Welding
      Corrosion
      Chipping or splitting of painted parts.

 

5 years :

  • Majors casting defect, craked or broken components without impact.

 

1 year :

  • Fabric (Ripping)
  • Table top ( Except broken glass )
    Cushion components
  • Fading or splitting of plastic parts
    Vinyl strap
  • Bearing unit
    Fading of color
  • Umbrella components (except rope)

  • Commercial, institutional, improper or abusive use
    Failure due to a lack of maintenance
    Stains
    Oxydation
    Damage from inadequate storage, acts of god, freeze damage, etc.
    Damage from strong detergents such as amoniac, acid, solvent, suntanning lotion, etc
    Breakage of tempered glass
    Normal fading of fabrics and painted parts
    Fading and splitting of plastic components and parts
    Scratches or mildew
    Fees of transport for return of goods
    Hardware such as nuts and bolts, etc

 

René Corriveau & Fils Inc. has all rights reserved about what should be repaired or replaced and which part or component will be used for it. The replacement will be done accordingly to the style and color of the original part and will depend on level of stock. In absence of stock, the company will substitute with similar merchandise. Most of uncovered parts are available at minimal cost at our factory. Remember to close the umbrella in windy conditions and when you are away from home.

 

The warranty is exclusive for the original buyer for domestic use.
Proof of purchase ( invoice ) should indicate the name of the original buyer, date and all model numbers.

 

Return of goods must be prepaid and preauthorized from René Corriveau & Fils Inc.
It is recommended to contact the dealer first, he will either fix the problem or follow-up the claim to the manufacturer. René Corriveau & Fils Inc. is not responsible for any loss of product enjoyment or any other loss from product defectiveness.

There are two different ways to get fast service : contacting the dealer or calling at René Corriveau & Fils Inc. Either way, you must have the invoice with all model numbers. Be aware to remove water from tubes and aluminum extrusions prior to winter season storing to avoid splitting or distorsion.

 

Care and maintenance instructions : lean frames with mild detergent in warm water, rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Avoid strong detergents and abrasive cleaners. For best results and to prevent mildew, clean slings and cushions weekly with a mild detergent and warm water. Remove excess moisture with a dry towel after rinsing out to allow an air dry.

 

To remove stains or mildew, use warm water and mild laundry detergent. Never use solvant base mixtures or abrasive cleaners. Never store cushions when wet nor seal in plastic bags. The best way to maintain the beauty of your furniture is to cover it when not in use with outdoor furniture covers which are available at many retail stores. However these covers are not suitable for winter storage. The best protection remains inside storage.
